Our certified auditors have conducted approximately 100 independent statutory compliance audits throughout Australia including EPBC permit and Sea Dumping Permit conditions; Coordinator-General Report Conditions; Environmental Approvals and Development permits for mining, energy, manufacturing, waste and industrial clients; with recognition by Commonwealth and State regulatory agencies as suitably qualified third-party auditors.

Industry specific audits    

Our extensive expertise auditing complex large-scale industrial projects’ construction and operational site environmental management plans, including delivery of long-term audit programs, enables our auditors to deliver concise and pragmatic recommendations to address compliance. This includes supporting BMP audit programs in the agricultural sector, with over 800 audits delivered.

Due diligence 

We routinely conduct environmental and ESG due diligence assessments of mining and industrial sites on behalf of global organisations, throughout Australia and internationally. Our ability to efficiently identify potential risks and compliance concerns enables us to generate detailed and cost-effective reports to address the clients’ concerns.

ESG compliance & audits 

Ardent Group’s Environmental and Social Governance expertise has been built over the last three decades. Historically, our projects have often included consideration of health and safety risks and community concerns, as well as with an emphasis on waste auditing and life cycle assessments.  More recently we have conducted ESG audits for industry specific programs including the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) audits; and corporate specific programs, including multi-nationals. Our expertise also extends to assisting clients address ESG compliance and reporting requirements.

Environmental risk management systems 

Our team has facilitated the development and implementation of Environmental Risk Management Systems across a range of industries, with clients achieving ISO14001 certification. We have significant expertise in developing risk registers and legal registers.

Environmental risk & compliance review   

Ardent Group has facilitated numerous environmental risk workshops for clients in the resources, power, commercial property, heavy manufacturing, public utilities, waste and agriculture sectors to enable a comprehensive assessment of environmental risk.  We routinely develop environmental legal registers as a stand-alone compliance tool, or part of an environmental risk management system.
